The Northwest Conference prides itself on being one of the premiere high school conferences in the State of Iowa. The conference is comprised of fourteen large culturally diverse high schools located in Iowa, with enrollments ranging from 1,200 to 2,500.
The Northwest Conference fields a full complement of 20 interscholastic sports and conducts its activities under the auspices of and in concert with the Iowa Interscholastic Athletic Association
